Release Notes provides an update on the 1.82.06 release status (it's looking good), and also discusses the functions of the background server thread, and more.

I've enjoyed getting back into our plan for the year (the multi-threading issues took up most of February). The pieces are coming together for our next release. I'm hoping to have more to say next month.
