Well, we blew it. The 1.82 release, which introduced a multi-threaded database, had critical multi-threading defects which came to light in a few larger installations. While most of you didn't have any problems, some of you did. And for that I apologize. We have understood and fixed the problems, written multi-threaded database tests to verify the fixes, and validated the server with some automated tools. Still, since you, our customers, cannot afford down-time, we have also posted a single threaded version (1.82.05) of the 1.82 release. Read more in the Latest Release article.
