Moving and Sharing Files Between Projects

  • To move one development snapshot to another development snapshot location in a different project, open the properties dialog box and enter the full or relative path of the target snapshot name into the Name: field. Note that only development snapshots can currently be moved and then only into another development snapshot location.
  • An alternate method for moving a snapshot between projects is to use "sscopy rollback" from the command line.
  • To copy only a few files between projects, use the Copy Changes To or Copy Changes From menus and then edit the target path. The target path can be a snapshot in another project on the same server. Using ssupdate from the command line, files can also be copied between snapshots in different projects.
