Release Highlights

It's official. Release 1.77 focuses on license administration to even further reduce SnapshotCM's already low cost of administration. In addition, we've added a number of user interaction improvements.

Key highlights of SnapshotCM 1.77:

• Simplified license install allows two key benefits. First, the license can be installed remotely from a (GUI or command-line) client. Second, the install no longer requires stopping the server.
• Extensive user and group usage reporting shows you who has licenses now, which groups have how many licenses, and how actively the users and groups make use of SnapshotCM.
• Snapshot History Compare quickly tells you what is different between two snapshots, who made the changes and why, with all non-relevant changes automatically filtered.
• Smaller changes include the addition of 3 icons to the Workspace Browser tool bar, the addition of a Get action in the Active History, server up time display, improved modification comment flexibility, and more.
